How It Started

There is something irreplaceable about a room full of people who are genuinely glad to be together. The sound of a table erupting in laughter. The moment someone says “I haven’t done this in so long” — and means it.
We live in a world that makes it far too easy to stay home alone — and far too rare to truly show up for each other. The Party Guest exists to change that. To give you every reason to open your door, fill your table, and make the kind of memories that people are still talking about on the drive home.

A little about me.
I’m a mother of three, based in Geneva, Illinois, with well over 20 years of experience in the serving industry. I bartend and serve on weekends, and I hold a Master’s degree in English. I’m a trained stage actor and professional storyteller — which means I know how to read a room, hold attention, and make every guest feel like the most interesting person there.
I currently work at a nature school. Ask me about it. I write poetry for strangers, I’m an amateur photographer, a flower gardener, an optimist, and I have well over a dozen years of teaching experience. I’m a lover of bikes, books, and baseball.
When I show up to your party, I bring all of that with me — the warmth, the curiosity, the craft. Your guests will feel it from the moment they walk in the door.
